Eagle Eye Inspections
At Eagle Eye Inspections, we specialise in providing thorough LOLER/PUWER examinations for all your lifting equipment.

LOLER requires lifting equipment to be examined:
- At least every six months in the case of lifting people, attachments and lifting accessories.

Competent Persons
For peace of mind, it makes sense to get your Thorough Examination from a CFTS-accredited Competent Person. The CFTS mark is your guarantee that your machine will be examined carefully, A LOLER competent person is defined as someone who possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and training to identify defects or weaknesses in lifting equipment and assess their safety implications. They are responsible for conducting thorough examinations of lifting equipment before its first use, after major repairs, and at regular intervals as mandated by the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER).
Compliance Assurance
We help you meet all regulatory compliance requirements to avoid penalties. You are required by law to ensure that the machine holds a report ofthorough examination on an annual basis. This requirement of a ‘thorough examination’ is embedded in Health & Safety legislation; Lifting components are covered by the Lifting Operations and Lifting equipment Regulations 1998.

Comprehensive Reports
As with the other regulations covered by LOLER, duty holders are obliged to hold appropriate information on their lifting equipment in order to be considered compliant. The term duty holder, in this case, refers to any "person and company who owns and operates or has control over lifting equipment".
The information gathered via a LOLER report is particularly useful and can be utilised to aid the duty holder in keeping track of the condition of machinery. But before considering the purpose and benefits of record-keeping, it’s important to first look at the obligations duty holders have under LOLER.

Supporting Agriculture
The importance of LOLER and PUWER compliance within agriculture
The importance of a Thorough Examination cannot be over-estimated. According to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), agriculture has the worst rate of worker fatal injury of all the main industry sectors, with the annual average over the last five years around 20 times as high as the all-industry rate.
Every farmer depends on well-functioning machinery and equipment such as tractors, forklifts and loaders to keep the farm running smoothly. With a strong background in agricultural machinery we understand the importance of flexible and reliable working to avoid down time.
